This site is about creating, developing, and nurturing a deep connection with our incredible oceans – and inspiring you to go out and experience it for yourself.
I have 40+ years of experience in the ocean
I have always had the sea as a big part of my life. Fishing, surfing, scuba diving, spearfishing and free diving have taken up most of my life. I have gained and taken so much from the sea, benefitting in numerous ways.
I have borne a deep urge to give back to the sea and make a difference. Not only do I get immense joy out of making these videos, but also hope to influence others on going for a dive, taking care when in and around the ocean and being aware of what lies below the surface.
All activities in and around the ocean matter. Anchoring in the correct area, not throwing waste into the water, throwing back unwanted catch whilst it’s still healthy, being mindful when swimming over the reef, only spearing what you will eat. I cannot make a difference or change the state of the oceans on my own, but everyone taking care and making small positive changes WILL make a massive difference. Hopefully these videos will bring a small connection and feeling to the ocean which will make you care and consider your actions in and around the ocean.

A greater understanding is key to appreciation
It’s important to see, learn and develop a bond and understanding of our oceans and the daily life within it.
Appreciating the beauty and wonders, brings about a conscious effort to want to care and protect what we see and feel. Realizing that there is always something in the sea, regardless of where you are and your actions could affect everything in the area or have a larger ripple effect to areas outside your immediate locality.
If we all use the sea in a better, more respectful and less harmful way, we can continue to enjoy what’s there for generations to come.
